PSB (Public Sector Building)
The Big Construction Diversity Challenge
Launched in 1989, Public Sector Building (PSB) magazine targets those who are responsible for public sector construction budgets across the UK. Published six times a year, PSB caters for all reading demographics across both printed and digital publications. PSB features in-depth news, industry comment, product reviews and case studies, keeping the reader abreast of current public sector construction activity.
We became aware of the Big Construction Diversity Challenge through the charity CRASH and instantly wanted to offer our support. The construction industry has a reputation for being very slow to change and, unfortunately, inclusion programmes and developments suffer because of this. ABC&D and PSB magazines believe that so much more can be achieved across the built environment sector through inclusion and diversity and July’s inaugural event offers a great platform to highlight this. The day promises to be a fun (we’re particularly taken by the human hungry hippos and space hopper basketball challenges!) and informative experience which will hopefully promote some lively conversation around the industry’s approach to inclusion.
